Building a Better Atlanta Through Collaboration

Our very own Executive Director, Katie Hayes, has just been accepted as a member of the LEAD Atlanta Class of 2013. LEAD Atlanta is an intensive eight month leadership development and community education program targeted at promising young professionals in the Metro Atlanta area. The program aims to equip young leaders, like Katie, with the skills and knowledge needed to be an effective leader committed to the common good. In addition to a rigorous class schedule, Katie and her classmates will participate in a service learning project team, immersion activities and a mentorship program. She will undoubtedly learn skills that will help us to strengthen the Community Farmers Market and keep the program going strong.
