Basil Pesto
Yield: 4-6 servings or about 20 tastings
Ingredients:
½ cup raw nuts (pine nuts, almonds, pecans, peanuts, or cashews)
3 cloves garlic
2 cups basil leaves, washed and dried
½ cup olive oil
½ cup hard cheese, finely grated
To taste salt & pepper
Directions:
- Place the garlic and nuts together in a food processor with a blade attachment. Pulse until finely chopped.
- Add basil, pulse until finely chopped, add grated cheese and pulse just to incorporate
- Turn on processor, and drizzle in olive oil while running.
- Serve and enjoy!
